SAY NO TO BLUR IMAGES
The simplest way to take a decent photograph is to keep your iPhone as still as possible. We know that keeping your phone still is not a as easy as it seems.
You can lean against a wall to take a shot or lay down the phone on something solid and attempt to press the shutter button without knocking your phone.
You can use Apple headphones as a remote shutter release. This means you don’t need to touch the device to take a image. No more blur images and knocking down the phone. Once your phone is fixed and your headphones are connected. Then you just have to press the volume button and the image will be clicked. This will allow you to take a non blur and perfect shot.
STOP ZOOMING
When you had opened your iPhone camera app first time, you may have tested its zoom function. Zoom function is fun to play with but if you want to take the best photo then you have to avoid zoom.
By zooming in you loss quality of picture resulting in slightly grainy and pixilated images that never look as good as they were when they were not zoomed. The iPhone doesn’t have a high resolution to make zoom a reliable option. So in order to take a perfect shot you have to avoid the zoom.
If you want to zoom, you can zoom it manually by walking closer to the subject. New technology is introduced to make our life easier but in this case, it’s not true.
TURN FLASH OFF
When you are on night out with your friends then you take bunch of photos for sharing on your social media. That’s only when flash should be on.
For other situations, if you want to take the best and detailed photos then you should definitely turn the flash off of your iPhone. Lower the light, the worse the shot will look. You should use as much natural light as you can, this will greatly improve your photograph.
RULE OF THIRDS
Your iPhone comes with a tool that when turned on overlays the grid over the camera app which makes it easier to frame the perfect shot.
You can’t turn off the grid tool directly from the camera app, you have to go to settings > photos and camera > grid. You can either activate it or deactivate it. Once turned on, you won’t want it to turn off.
If may be possible at first you may find it annoying, but once you understand the rule of thirds, you will came to know the efficiency of the tool. While planning a shot, this tool can be very effective.
According to Rule of Thirds, a photograph is more interesting when the key compositional elements are placed along the grid lines or on the intersections, which create more tension, energy and interest in the composition. It works, just try it out.
TAKE A VIEW FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES
When you take a bad photograph, don’t be hasty and delete that image. Even bad photographers take bad images some times.
See your image on the big screens. It’s possible that full detail what you have captured is not visible on the small screen of your iPhone and iPad. It’s possible that you actually find that photograph better than you thought.
